Welcome to the Human Services Portfolio Portal
The Human Services Portfolio is about people and the services we may need at different stages of our lives.
It consists of the Portfolio Department of Human Services—including the Child Support Agency and CRS Australia—and the Human Services agencies, Centrelink, Medicare Australia, Australian Hearing and the HSA Group.
Together the Portfolio Department and the Human Services agencies work to improve government social and health-related services to all Australians.
Initiatives
- Job Capacity Assessment—A Job Capacity Assessment (JCA) will identify a person’s ability to work and any barriers they face in finding and keeping a job.
- Murray-Darling Basin—Support is available for irrigators and dryland farmers in the Murray-Darling Basin who have been affected by reduced water allocations.
